Selbstliebe ist die Basis für ein erfülltes und glückliches Leben. Dennoch habe ich mich während der Entstehung von Be-You-Tiful gefragt, ob sie gottgegeben oder uns im Laufe unseres Lebens und der Menschheitsgeschichte abhanden gekommen ist.
Als ich diesen Song aufnahm, bebte mein Inneres. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, woran es lag. Ich fragte mich immer wieder, warum dieses Thema mich so sehr in meinen Gedanken verschwinden lässt. Ungewollt ging mir die Frage durch den Kopf, was Selbstliebe genau ist, wie man sie fühlt und was dabei vor allem wichtig ist.
Dir Zeit zu nehmen, um über deine Gedanken, Gefühle und Bedürfnisse nachzudenken, ist gewiss ein guter Anfang, aber komm dabei nicht zu sehr ins Grübeln. Kümmere dich um dich selbst wie um einen guten Freund, denn dadurch zeigst du dir selbst gegenüber Wertschätzung und Liebe. Akzeptiere deine Fehler und betrachte sie als wertvolle Lektionen auf deinem Weg des persönlichen Wachstums. Selbstliebe ermöglicht dir, dich selbst anzunehmen, deine Stärken und Schwächen zu akzeptieren. Durch Selbstliebe verbesserst du deine Beziehungen und du erreichst deine Ziele einfacher, wodurch du ein gesundes Selbstwertgefühl entwickelst. Sie ist allerdings ein lebenslanger Prozess, der Zeit und auch Übung erfordert. Du kannst dir selbst sowieso nicht entkommen.
