Das Album mit einer bewegten Geschichte
Alles begann mit einem Traum. Nicht mit so einem, den man im Schlaf hat. Es war eine Eingebung, die ich eines Tages hatte. Es war die innere Stimme, die ich ganz klar, laut und deutlich hörte:
DAS wirst DU machen! Das ist DEINE Aufgabe, deine Mission. Sie ist größer als dein Ego, deine Familie, deine Freunde und wird größer als alles sein, was du bis dahin je gemacht haben wirst. Ein Album, das die Welt bewegen und verändern wird. Du wirst deshalb nach Frankreich gehen und es SEVEN nennen.
Ich hatte keine Ahnung, warum Frankreich und warum SEVEN. Es war ein völlig unvorstellbarer und unrealistischer Traum. Und er wurde dennoch wahr. Den Sinn dieser Mission verstand ich erst, nachdem ich Aufbruch und Stagnation, Neubeginn und Routine, Sieg und Niederlage, Erfolg und Versagen durchlebte. Sie wurde zur Geschichte von Selbstfindung, Selbstliebe, Vergebung und über die Verwirklichung von Träumen.
Fünfzehn Jahre nach dieser Eingebung packte ich meine Sachen, ging nach Frankreich und nahm diese Geschichten in Form von Songs auf, die bis dahin nur in meinen Gedanken existierten.
Wenn jemand zu dir sagt: „Ach, träum weiter!“, dann tu GENAU DAS. Deine Träume werden deiner Wahrheit Gestalt verleihen.
Träume verleihen uns die Kraft, dort weiterzumachen, wo die Hoffnung längst aufgegeben hat.
Ich habe fünfzehn Jahre lang auf die innere Stimme gehört, um dir diese Melodien und Geschichten in dein Herz zu legen. SEVEN ist mein Traum, der meiner Wahrheit Gestalt verleiht.
Entdecke dich selbst in den Songs
SEVEN ist ein abwechslungsreiches Rock-/Hardrockalbum. Die einprägsamen Melodien werden von kraftvollen Gitarrenriffs getragen. Sie rütteln dich auf und lassen dich wie auf einer Achterbahn auf dem Jahrmarkt durch die Höhen und Tiefen des Lebens führen. Energiegeladen donnern sie über deinen wippenden Fuß, nickenden Kopf und schnippenden Finger direkt in deinen Bauch. Die raue Stimme ist der Kanal, der in dein Herz führt.
Die Texte sind Transformationen persönlicher Erlebnisse und Erfahrungen, die mit der Musik harmonieren und ihre Wiedergeburt in englischsprachiger Lyrik finden. Während der Entstehung durchleben sie eine mehrfache Metamorphose, aber sie kommen am Ende immer auf den Punkt. Es gibt so gut wie keine Interpretationsfreiheit, denn ich kreiere und schreibe alles so direkt und authentisch, wie ich es meine, empfinde und erlebe.
